Is there a minimum booking?
Caregiver support is booked with a five-day minimum. Nursing visits, physiotherapy, doctor consultations and companion visits have no minimum — book a single one.
What’s the difference between a caregiver and a nurse?
A caregiver handles daily non-clinical life: bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, mobility, company. A nurse handles clinical work to a doctor’s plan: injections, wound dressing, catheter and Ryles tube care, monitoring. Caregivers don’t give injections or dress wounds, and we won’t let them — that’s a nurse’s job and you can book one on the same app.
Is the first day really free?
Yes — the first day of your first caregiver booking. The caregiver is paid in full for that day regardless; we cover it, not them. It applies once, to caregiver support, and you book it exactly like any other day.
Do I get to choose the caregiver?
Not from a shortlist. Your request goes only to caregivers who match the role, work your area, are free on your dates and aren’t already on two other assignments — and the first suitable one accepts it. If the person who arrives isn’t right for your parent, tell us and we replace them at no cost. We’d rather fix a match than make you interview strangers.
How do I know the caregiver actually came?
Every shift begins and ends with a one-time code at your door. The record is timestamped at both ends, and verified attendance is what releases the caregiver’s payment — so nobody is paid for a visit that didn’t happen.
How quickly can care start?
For a nursing, physiotherapy, doctor or companion visit, often the next day. Caregiver support usually starts within two to three days — long enough to match someone properly to your parent rather than send whoever is free. If it is urgent, say so on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly what we can do.
What languages do your caregivers speak?
English across the roster, with Malayalam, Hindi, Tagalog, Urdu and Arabic depending on the match. Tell us what’s spoken at home — for an elderly parent this matters far more than families expect, and we match for it deliberately.
I live abroad. Can I manage this from there?
Yes, and most families do. You book, approve the care plan and read the log from any time zone. We schedule the intake call around yours.
My parents are visiting Dubai for a few months. Can we book short-term?
Yes. Short-term bookings are supported, including recovery cover while they’re staying with you. The five-day minimum on caregiver support still applies.
What if the caregiver isn’t right for my mother?
Tell us and we replace them, at no cost and with no notice period charged. A poor match is our error in matching, not yours in judging.
