Care at home in Dubai

Hello. We’re Pulso.

Caregivers, home nurses, physiotherapists and doctors for elderly parents at home — booked by the shift or the visit, verified at the door with a code, and time-stamped in and out every single day so you can see it from anywhere in the world.

Why families choose us

Everything a good day needs.

Not a stranger sent to fill a slot. One caregiver who knows your parent’s routine, their language, and what they like doing at four in the afternoon — with clinical help on the same platform when the day calls for it.

Keep their independence

Bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and help to sit, stand and walk — so they stay in charge of their own day.

Verified before they arrive

Identity, references, attestation, licensing, police clearance, medical fitness and training — each one checked, not collected.

Company, not just tasks

Conversation, simple activities, a walk, an escort to the clinic. Loneliness does as much damage as any diagnosis.

Clinical care on the same app

A nurse for injections and wound care, a physiotherapist, a doctor at home or on video — without starting again somewhere else.

Checked in with a code

Every shift starts and ends with a one-time code at your door. Attendance isn’t a claim — it’s a record, and it’s what pays the caregiver.

One rate, in writing

Agreed before you book. No placement fee, and no charge if you want a different caregiver.

What you can book

Five services, one app.

Book any of these for a parent at home in Dubai, from the app or on WhatsApp. Clinical services are delivered by licensed practitioners through our operating partner.

Scope of care

What we will not do.

Every provider tells you what they offer. Far fewer tell you where they stop — which is exactly where families get hurt. These limits are written into our app, and every caregiver and nurse works to them.

A caregiver will not

Caregiver support

  • Give injections
  • Handle IV lines
  • Dress wounds
  • Make medicine decisions

Any of these needs a nurse. Book one on the same app and we’ll send one.

A nurse will not

Home nursing

  • Change prescriptions
  • Start new medicines
  • Perform major procedures

Nursing follows the doctor’s care plan. Changing it is a doctor’s decision, so we book you one.

A physiotherapist will not

Physiotherapy

  • Do routine personal care
  • Give injections
  • Change diapers

Physiotherapy is movement and rehabilitation. Daily care is the caregiver’s job, and we’d rather say so.

Proof, not promises

A code at the door, every shift.

The most common failure in home care is the visit that quietly didn’t happen. We designed that out: attendance is verified at your door and it is what releases the caregiver’s pay.

AT THE DOOR

Check-in with a one-time code

The caregiver can’t start the shift on their phone without a code from your side.

DURING

The day is logged as it happens

Care given, medicines reminded, anything you should know — readable from any time zone.

AT THE END

Check-out closes the record

The shift is timestamped at both ends. What you’re billed for is what was verified.

THEN

Attendance releases the payout

No verified attendance, no payment. The incentive points the same way as your interest.

Our people

Seven checks before your front door.

This is the part of home care nobody shows you, and it is the entire product. Most applicants never reach step seven — that is the point of having seven.

1 · Sourcing

Recruited in-country and from source markets, screened for temperament before résumé length.

2 · Identity & documents

Passport, visa status, prior employment and named references — contacted, not merely collected.

3 · Qualifications

For nurses, BSc Nursing, GNM or ANM on file — attested through the origin country and MOFA. It takes weeks. We don’t skip it.

4 · Licensing

Where the role needs a DHA or DOH licence, we carry the application the whole way through.

5 · Screening

Medical fitness, police clearance, and a structured interview on judgement under pressure.

6 · Training

Safe transfers and falls, turning and positioning, medication discipline, dignity in personal care.

How it works

Four steps, all in the app.

No agency appointment, no waiting for someone to call you back. You book it yourself and watch it happen.

The Pulso booking screen, step one of three: choosing who the care is for and which service.
1

Book it in the app

Who it’s for, which service, which dates. Confirm the address and see the full price before you pay. Three screens.

The booking marked Assigned, showing the caregiver Maria S. rated 4.8 over 36 completed care days, and a Verified by Pulso list: GDA certificate, ID and address, background verification, Pulso skill assessment, two years of elderly-care experience, training in bedridden care, and Arabic, English and Hindi.
2

A matched caregiver accepts

Your request goes only to verified caregivers who fit the role, work your area, are free on your dates, and aren’t already on two other assignments.

The Visit OTP screen showing a six-digit code to hand the caregiver at the door, with the two previous days marked Visit verified.
3

They check in with your code

The shift can’t start on their phone until you hand them a one-time code at the door.

A day-by-day log: days one and two verified with check-in and check-out times, day three on shift, days four and five upcoming.
4

Follow it, change it

Every shift logged and timestamped. Swap the schedule or the caregiver whenever you need — and verified attendance is what releases their pay.

Your first day is free.

The first day of your first caregiver booking costs you nothing — and the caregiver is still paid in full for it, by us. Book it exactly the way you’d book any other day, and decide afterwards.

Caregiver profile for Maria S.: 4.8 over 36 completed care days, and a Verified by Pulso list covering her GDA certificate, ID and background checks, Pulso skill assessment, experience and training, the languages she speaks, and a family review.
Before they arrive

You see the person, not a placeholder.

Tap the caregiver on your booking and you get their whole file — her GDA certificate, ID and background checks, the Pulso skill assessment she passed, what she is trained in, the languages she speaks, and what other families in Dubai have said about her.

If it isn’t the right person for your parent, ask for someone else. There is no charge for changing your mind.

On your phone

The whole thing lives in your pocket.

Choose the service, pick your days, see the full price in dirhams before you pay, and follow every booking afterwards. Prices include VAT, the free first day is applied automatically, and the total is confirmed in writing before anything is charged.

Insured. Public liability and professional indemnity in place before anyone starts.
On file for everyone. Police clearance, medical fitness and attested qualifications, available to you on request.
Change your mind in week one. If the match isn’t right we replace the caregiver. No argument, no charge.

Questions

Asked first, every time.

Is there a minimum booking?
Caregiver support is booked with a five-day minimum. Nursing visits, physiotherapy, doctor consultations and companion visits have no minimum — book a single one.
What’s the difference between a caregiver and a nurse?
A caregiver handles daily non-clinical life: bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, mobility, company. A nurse handles clinical work to a doctor’s plan: injections, wound dressing, catheter and Ryles tube care, monitoring. Caregivers don’t give injections or dress wounds, and we won’t let them — that’s a nurse’s job and you can book one on the same app.
Is the first day really free?
Yes — the first day of your first caregiver booking. The caregiver is paid in full for that day regardless; we cover it, not them. It applies once, to caregiver support, and you book it exactly like any other day.
Do I get to choose the caregiver?
Not from a shortlist. Your request goes only to caregivers who match the role, work your area, are free on your dates and aren’t already on two other assignments — and the first suitable one accepts it. If the person who arrives isn’t right for your parent, tell us and we replace them at no cost. We’d rather fix a match than make you interview strangers.
How do I know the caregiver actually came?
Every shift begins and ends with a one-time code at your door. The record is timestamped at both ends, and verified attendance is what releases the caregiver’s payment — so nobody is paid for a visit that didn’t happen.
How quickly can care start?
For a nursing, physiotherapy, doctor or companion visit, often the next day. Caregiver support usually starts within two to three days — long enough to match someone properly to your parent rather than send whoever is free. If it is urgent, say so on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly what we can do.
What languages do your caregivers speak?
English across the roster, with Malayalam, Hindi, Tagalog, Urdu and Arabic depending on the match. Tell us what’s spoken at home — for an elderly parent this matters far more than families expect, and we match for it deliberately.
I live abroad. Can I manage this from there?
Yes, and most families do. You book, approve the care plan and read the log from any time zone. We schedule the intake call around yours.
My parents are visiting Dubai for a few months. Can we book short-term?
Yes. Short-term bookings are supported, including recovery cover while they’re staying with you. The five-day minimum on caregiver support still applies.
What if the caregiver isn’t right for my mother?
Tell us and we replace them, at no cost and with no notice period charged. A poor match is our error in matching, not yours in judging.
