Scope of care

What we will not do.

Every provider tells you what they offer. Far fewer tell you where they stop — which is exactly where families get hurt. These limits are written into the Pulso app, and every caregiver and nurse works to them.

A caregiver will not
  • Give injections
  • Handle IV lines
  • Dress wounds
  • Make medicine decisions

Any of these needs a nurse — book one on the same app and we’ll send one.

A nurse will not
  • Change prescriptions
  • Start new medicines
  • Perform major procedures

Nursing follows the doctor’s care plan. Changing it is a doctor’s decision.

A physiotherapist will not
  • Do routine personal care
  • Give injections
  • Change diapers

Physiotherapy is movement and rehabilitation. Daily care is the caregiver’s job.

How it works

Four steps, all in the app.

No agency appointment, no waiting for a call back. You book it yourself and watch it happen.

1

Book it in the app

Who it’s for, which service, which dates. Confirm the address and see the full price before you pay.

2

A matched caregiver accepts

Your request goes only to verified caregivers who fit the role, work your area and are free on your dates.

3

They check in with your code

The shift can’t start on their phone until you hand them a one-time code at the door.

4

Follow it, change it

Every shift logged and timestamped. Verified attendance is what releases their pay.

Questions

Asked first, every time.

Is there a minimum booking?
Homecare is booked with a five-day minimum — matching, handover and settling in don’t work in one or two days. Nurse visits, physiotherapy and doctor consultations have no minimum.
What’s the difference between a caregiver and a nurse?
A caregiver handles daily non-clinical life: bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, mobility, company. A nurse handles clinical work to a doctor’s plan. Caregivers don’t give injections or dress wounds — that’s a nurse’s job, and you can book one on the same app.
How do I know the caregiver actually came?
Every shift begins and ends with a one-time code at your door. The record is timestamped at both ends, and verified attendance is what releases the caregiver’s payment.
Is the first day really free?
Yes — the first day of your first homecare booking. The caregiver is paid in full for it regardless; we cover it, not them.
Which areas do you cover?
Kochi and Ernakulam, plus Tiruvalla, Aluva, Thrissur, Trivandrum and Bangalore.
What if the caregiver isn’t right?
Tell us and we replace them, at no cost and with no notice period charged.
